Tools reference¶
This page lists the tools the Suitest MCP server offers. You do not call them yourself. The assistant picks the right tool and fills in the arguments. Still, it helps to know what each tool takes and what it gives back.
All tools on this page only read data. None of them change your apps, configurations, test packs or devices.
Tools at a glance¶
| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
apps_list |
Lists your apps and their versions. |
device_list |
Lists the devices in your organization. |
test_packs_list |
Lists the test packs of an app version. |
test_pack_get |
Returns one test pack in full. |
test_pack_executions_list |
Lists the execution rounds of a test pack. |
test_pack_execution_iterations |
Lists the iterations inside one round. |
test_pack_execution_iteration |
Lists every test run on every device in one iteration. |
test_run_device_result |
Returns one test run on one device, line by line, with its logs. |
app_configs_list |
Lists the configurations of an app version. |
app_config_get |
Returns one configuration in full. |
Most tools need the ID of an app, an app version or a test pack. You do not
have to know them. Name your app in plain language and the assistant looks
the IDs up with apps_list and test_packs_list first.
Limitations¶
The tools only read. You cannot create, change, delete or run anything over MCP yet. Use the web app or the Network API for that.
Where to go next¶
- Connecting a client walks through the setup.
- The Network API reference documents the Suitest Public API, and lets you try it directly.
