Adding NextGen TV / ATSC 3.0¶

Suitest is a tool for testing NextGen TVs with ATSC 3.0 featuring a traditional infrared remote control. After setting up the device you will be able to create and execute automated end-to-end test scenarios as well as debug your applications directly on the device.

NextGen TVs can operated by the CandyBox or the SoloCandy.

A HW (CandyBox or SoloCandy) can be ordered by contacting our sales team.

Prerequisites¶

In order to test broadcasting on NextGen TV, you will need to have an ATSC 3.0 channel set up.

Adding a device to Suitest¶

Please follow the instructions for HbbTV installation. NextGen TV is installed the same way.
