Suitest does not offer to record a specific button

This is unlikely but possible since Suitest currently supports recording only out of the predefined set of buttons. If you have a remote with a specific button (like My family tree button on Samsung) and for some reason want to record it, be sure to contact us.

Suitest does not record any keys on my remote

In this case, your remote is probably not infrared based. There are remotes operating through Bluetooth or radio signals. If you are not sure whether your remote is infrared based or not, try operating your device with it from behind a wall or try jamming the signal by covering the remote with your body. If the remote works no matter how much obstacles you put in the signal's way, then the remote is not infrared based. Please contact us in this case.

The button is not on my remote

In this case, you can skip recording the button. Before giving up, make double sure that the button is really absent from your remote. Some of the buttons can be tricky to find. These include Smart, Options, Tools, EPG, Teletext, and the Play/Pause button.
