Suitest on a public HbbTV channel

If you don't have a possibility to play out the Suitest channel, you can use an existing public channel instead although this involves a bit of networking magic. You will need a channel which broadcasts an online HbbTV auto start application a.k.a. RedButton. You need to change the DNS resolution in your local network for the domain of the RedButton application to point to the IP address of Suitest.

Let's assume that your device is tuned to ARD channel. The ARD's RedButton application starts at the itv.ard.de domain, so you should set up the DNS record of type A pointing itv.ard.de to 51.254.104.128 (one of the IP addresses of Suitest).

Consult with your network administrator on how to configure local DNS records in your network. You can use this approach for any channel for which you know the domain of the RedButton application. The following table lists some of the channels along with their RedButton domains.
