Suitest Virtual Remote Control (VRC)¶
For all devices in your Suitest account, you are able to use Suitest Virtual remote control (below as VRC) to control them.
There are 5 versions of our VRC:
- Default VRC: used for all connected TVs
- Android Mobile VRC: used for Android mobile, Apple iPhone and iPad
- iPhone/iPad VRC: used for Android mobile, Apple iPhone and iPad
- PlayStation VRC: used for PlayStation 4 and 5
- Xbox VRC: used for Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S
Default VRC - for connected TVs¶
The VRC has several sections:
Each section can be hidden/displayed using the main controls bar at the bottom of the VRC.
Buttons to display/hide VRC button sections
Main buttons¶
This section contains all buttons related to turning on the device.
Main features:
- Power button - power on/off the device (if it has been recorded or available by the network control)
- Power-cycle button - only if a smart plug is associated
- Open app button - to open an application configured in Suitest
- Stream button - to watch a stream
- Boot button - used for executing a booting sequence of specific platforms (e.g. HbbTV)
Navigation buttons¶
This section contains all buttons that are important to navigate both inside the operating system as well as inside an application.
