SuitestDrive on Raspberry Pi¶
Besides using SuitestDrive on a CandyBox, you can also use it on your Raspberry Pi. This way you can easily avoid having a dedicated computer running SuitestDrive as well as you do not need to rent a CandyBox from us in your device lab.

Prerequisites¶
To install and use SuitestDrive on your Raspberry Pi you will need:
- Correctly configured Raspberry Pi
- USB flash drive
- USB 2.0 Type A (or higher).
- Minimum 4 GB storage.
- Formatted
FAT32
partition.
Set up¶
To enable SuitestDrive on your Raspberry Pi, do the following:
- Plug the above mentioned USB flash drive into any empty port of your Raspberry Pi.
- Go to your Control units.
- Open the drop-down next to the Raspberry Pi.
- Click Enable SuitestDrive.
The SuitestDrive will be downloaded (this may take some time) and once the automatic actions complete it will be added to your Control units.
Troubleshooting¶
Restarting or Disabling SuitestDrive¶
You can restart or disable the SuitestDrive that is on your Raspberry Pi. To do this, do the following:
- Go to your Control units.
- Open the drop-down next to the Raspberry Pi.
- Press restart or disable.
Important: Do not unplug the USB without disabling the SuitestDrive first, otherwise, you risk damaging the SuitestDrive installation.
